Job Description
Join our team at the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a Counselor Social Worker, where you will provide essential psychosocial evaluation and therapy in a dynamic clinical environment. You will lead therapeutic interventions, manage cases, and train lower-level staff, contributing to the well-being of a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities
Provide counseling and therapy to clients and families
Prepare treatment and discharge plans
Consult with other professionals for therapeutic interventions
Manage cases and provide crisis intervention
Document treatment and client progress
Train and supervise lower-level counselors and interns
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in a related discipline
3 years of directly related experience
LPCC/CMHC or LCSW or LMFT license in New Mexico
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English, Spanish, or other Native American languages
