Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in a mental health/psychiatric environment
Design nursing care plans and assist in developing overall care plans for psychiatric patients
Observe patient behavior and perform triage and crisis intervention
Write treatment plans and coordinate patient drug and procedure activities
Educate patients and families on treatment regimens and management of side effects
Follow established departmental policies and safety standards
Participate in orientation and assume precepting responsibilities for new personnel
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
