Key Responsibilities
Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop anesthesia care plans
Select and administer anesthetics and manage equipment
Monitor patient condition during procedures
Manage patient emergence and recovery post-anesthesia
Implement pain management strategies
Stabilize patients in emergencies
Ensure compliance with safety standards and collaborate with healthcare teams
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program
Current state licensure as a CRNA
BLS and ACLS certification
Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
8-12 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
5 years of CRNA experience
Competence in performing as a CRNA in a clinical setting
Proficiency in operating anesthesia equipment
