Job Description
Join our mission-driven outpatient palliative care team as a Registered Nurse, where you will provide compassionate support and clinical expertise to patients and their families. You will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for those with serious illnesses while ensuring safe and effective care in an ambulatory setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
Clinical leadership and mentorship for staff
Patient education and support for families
Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures
Administer medications and assist with procedures
Participate in orientation and evaluation of new personnel
Document medical histories and triage patients
Promote patient safety and self-management
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
3 years directly related experience
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
