The Inpatient Supervisor - RN oversees nursing staff and patient care, utilizing independent judgment to assign duties and ensure compliance with hospital policies. They play a pivotal role in maintaining a positive work environment while contributing to strategic nursing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Assign nurses and technicians to patients using independent judgment
Supervise staff and patient care delivery on designated shifts
Ensure adequate staffing to meet patient census
Monitor compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Act as liaison between physicians, staff, patients, and families
Participate in nursing strategic initiatives
Deliver safe direct care to patients
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
2 years directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
Nationally Certified in area of specialty
