Join the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as a CPR RN, providing vital nursing care in psychiatric settings. You'll assess and support patients of all ages while ensuring adherence to care plans and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Interview, examine, and assess the health status of psychiatric patients
Observe patient behavior and perform triage and crisis intervention
Write treatment plans and coordinate patient drug and procedure activities
Administer medication and facilitate group therapy and/or education sessions
Educate patients and families on treatment regimens and provide emotional support
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Obtain and maintain Aggressive Behavior Certification within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
