Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for psychiatric patients
Design nursing care plans and assist in developing overall care plans
Observe patient behavior and perform triage and crisis intervention
Write treatment plans and coordinate patient drug and procedure activities
Educate patients and families on treatment regimens and compliance
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
Participate in orientation and evaluation responsibilities of new personnel
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
Registered Nurse (RN) in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement
Obtain and maintain Aggressive Behavior Certification within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual (English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo)
