Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a CPR Registered Nurse, where you'll provide essential patient care in an ambulatory setting, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols. Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in the ambulatory setting
Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff
Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures
Assist physicians with special tests, procedures, and complex treatments
Document patient care and maintain medical records
Participate in orientation and evaluation of new personnel
Provide education for patients and families about preventive care and medical issues
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN license in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
