Key Responsibilities
Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care
Initiate unit-based strategies for developing clinical skills
Perform as a unit educator and clinical instructor
Develop patient plans of care based on evidence-based research
Consult with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
Educate staff on new equipment and conduct training/workshops
Assist patients and caregivers with educational needs and health management
Monitor trends and implement educational strategies for quality standards
Deliver safe direct patient care and administer medications
Encourage patient participation in their own care
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN)
18 months directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
Registered Nurse (RN) in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
3 years directly related experience
Current Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, etc.
