Key Responsibilities

  • Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care
  • Initiate unit-based strategies for developing clinical skills
  • Perform as a unit educator and clinical instructor
  • Develop patient plans of care based on evidence-based research
  • Consult with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
  • Educate staff on new equipment and conduct training/workshops
  • Assist patients and caregivers with educational needs and health management
  • Monitor trends and implement educational strategies for quality standards
  • Deliver safe direct patient care and administer medications
  • Encourage patient participation in their own care

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN)
  • 18 months directly related experience
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
  • Registered Nurse (RN) in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
  • 3 years directly related experience
  • Current Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, etc.
