Job Description
As a Radiology Technologist at the University of New Mexico Hospitals, you will provide critical patient services in a Level I Trauma Center. You will perform diagnostic procedures, ensure quality control, and uphold safety standards while delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures including portables and the OR
Follow prescribed techniques and adjust equipment for x-rays
Evaluate filming for technical qualities and provide corrective action
Document patient reactions or problems during procedures
Complete relevant paperwork for exams and patient education
Assist in patient care and follow Radiology Department protocols
Maintain quality control and safety standards
Participate in educational programs and enhance professional growth
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists License
New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program License
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a trauma center
