Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care and patient education in an ambulatory setting
Assist in patient needs assessment, take vital signs and medical history
Administer medication and monitor results, including IV medications
Perform treatments and assist medical staff with procedures
Orient new staff and participate in patient care conferences
Implement emergency measures for sudden patient developments
Maintain patient areas and ensure patient files are complete
Follow patient safety-related policies and protocols
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
LPN Accredited Program Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
Licensed Practical Nurse in NM or reciprocal agreement
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
2 years directly related experience
