As the Director of Group Sales at Manhattan at Times Square, you'll lead efforts to maximize group and banquet revenue, driving business through strategic account management and client engagement. This role requires strong leadership in prospecting new opportunities while achieving set financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and drive group and banquet revenue through strategies
Prospect and close on assigned accounts to impact hotel revenues
Maximize sales opportunities with existing accounts
Develop and implement a sales activity plan
Attend industry tradeshows/events to promote hotel
Collaborate with Catering Sales to maximize revenue
Monitor production and lead volume of top accounts
Conduct site inspections and client entertainment
Required Qualifications
At least 3-5 years of luxury hotel sales experience
5+ years of effective group selling experience
Skilled in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets, Delphi, and word processing
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
High standards of personal appearance and grooming
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in catering sales
Familiarity with hotel operations including Food and Beverage and Guest Services
