Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a CPR RN, providing essential nursing care in a psychiatric setting. You will develop care plans, administer treatments, and work collaboratively with patients and families to ensure effective recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for psychiatric patients
Design nursing care plans and assist in overall care plan development
Perform assessments and triage for psychiatric patients
Administer medications and coordinate nursing care
Educate patients and families on treatment regimens
Document patient conditions and treatments
Participate in emergency measures for patient care
Adhere to hospital policies and ensure patient safety
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement
IV Certification within 6 months of date of position may be required
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
1 year directly related experience
