Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as a Registered Nurse in the Behavioral Services department, providing vital nursing care in a psychiatric environment. Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for psychiatric patients
Design nursing care plans and assist in overall care plan development
Conduct patient assessments and administer medications
Educate patients and families on treatment regimens
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as permitted by reciprocal agreement
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
1 year directly related experience
