Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as a Bilingual RN, providing essential nursing care in a dynamic psychiatric environment. You'll design care plans, administer treatments, and support patients and families through their recovery journey while benefiting from competitive pay and various shift differentials.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in a psychiatric environment
Design and assist in the development of nursing care plans for psychiatric patients
Observe patient behavior and perform triage and crisis intervention
Administer medication and treatment
Educate patients and families on treatment regimens and management of side effects
Coordinate and facilitate communication among healthcare providers
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
1 year directly related experience
