Job Description
The University of New Mexico - Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Counselor Social Worker to provide essential psychosocial evaluation, counseling, and crisis intervention services in a high-intensity clinical setting. Key Responsibilities
Provide counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to clients and families
Prepare treatment plans, discharge plans, and follow-up care programs
Consult with other therapists and related professionals
Provide therapeutic interventions and crisis intervention
Refer clients to appropriate social service agencies
Document treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments
Perform administrative functions and prepare reports
Provide clinical supervision and training to lower-level therapists and interns
Participate in professional development activities
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in a related discipline
LPCC/CMHC or LCSW or LMFT in New Mexico
3 years directly related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
