Join the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as a Radiology Technologist, where you will provide essential patient services in a Level I Trauma Center. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring quality service and patient safety in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures including portables and in the OR
Follow prescribed techniques to administer x-rays and adjust equipment
Evaluate filming for quality control and provide corrective actions
Document patient reactions or problems during procedures
Assume care for patients during examinations
Assist physician with imaging and follow departmental protocols
Maintain safety standards and provide protection to patients
Keep assigned areas clean and maintain supply levels
Provide clinical education to students and staff
Participate in professional development and educational programs
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists License
NM Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program License
Preferred Qualifications
