Job Description

The RN - Inpatient Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing staff and patient care on designated shifts. This role involves utilizing independent judgment to assign responsibilities, ensuring adherence to policies, and promoting a positive work environment while delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assign nurses, technicians, and nursing care to patients
  • Designate shift and schedule assignments
  • Provide clinical leadership for nursing and technician staff
  • Monitor attendance and ensure adequate staffing
  • Serve as a clinical resource and role model
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures
  • Participate in nursing strategic initiatives
  • Supervise and direct staff providing patient care
  • Deliver safe direct care to assigned patient groups

Required Qualifications

  • Program Graduate
  • 2 years directly related experience
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
  • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
  • Nationally Certified in area of specialty
