The RN - Inpatient Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing staff and patient care on designated shifts. This role involves utilizing independent judgment to assign responsibilities, ensuring adherence to policies, and promoting a positive work environment while delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Assign nurses, technicians, and nursing care to patients
Designate shift and schedule assignments
Provide clinical leadership for nursing and technician staff
Monitor attendance and ensure adequate staffing
Serve as a clinical resource and role model
Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures
Participate in nursing strategic initiatives
Supervise and direct staff providing patient care
Deliver safe direct care to assigned patient groups
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
2 years directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
Nationally Certified in area of specialty
