Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a Counselor Social Worker, where you'll provide vital psychosocial evaluations, counseling, and crisis interventions in a high-intensity clinical environment. Key Responsibilities
Provide counseling, therapy, and psychotherapy to clients and families
Prepare treatment and discharge plans
Consult with other therapists and professionals
Provide therapeutic interventions and crisis intervention
Refer clients to appropriate social service agencies
Document treatment methods and outcomes
Perform administrative functions and prepare reports
Provide clinical supervision and training to lower-level staff
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in related discipline
LPCC/CMHC or LCSW or LMFT license in New Mexico
3 years of directly related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish or other Native American languages
