Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as an RN Coordinator in Orthopedic Care, where you will play a crucial role in planning and delivering patient care for various age groups. Key Responsibilities
Perform all RN Nursing duties in specialty clinic and triage patients
Coordinate all activities related to patient care
Serve as liaison between patients/families and healthcare team
Counsel and teach families regarding medical conditions and procedures
Facilitate delivery of optimal patient care in specialty area
Collaborate with specialty team regarding patient candidacy
Conduct educational engagements for professional and public relations
Provide statistical reports as needed
Participate in educational opportunities and workshops
Direct management of patient care caseload pre and post operative
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
3 years directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
2 years directly related experience
