Key Responsibilities
Provide counseling, therapy, and psychotherapy to clients and families
Prepare treatment plans, discharge plans, and follow-up care programs
Consult with other therapists and related professionals
Provide and arrange therapeutic interventions including crisis intervention
Refer clients to appropriate social service agencies
Document treatment and follow up on reliability
Prepare documentation for civil commitment hearings
Provide clinical supervision to lower-level therapists and interns
Participate in educational programs and training
Required Qualifications
Provisional license in Counseling or Social Work
LMSW or LPC or LMHC
LPCC or LCSW or Marriage and Family Therapist License in New Mexico
PhD in a related discipline
