Job Description

This full-time role allows you to function as a master teacher and clinical instructor while ensuring adherence to hospital policies and providing specialized care across various patient age groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care
  • Initiate unit-based strategies for developing clinical skills
  • Perform as a unit educator and clinical instructor
  • Develop patient plans of care incorporating evidence-based research
  • Consult with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
  • Educate staff on new equipment and coordinate training
  • Assist patients and caregivers with educational needs
  • Monitor trends and implement educational strategies
  • Deliver safe direct care to patients
  • Enhance professional growth through educational programs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • BSN or MSN
  • 18 months directly related experience
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
  • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
  • Instructor in Unit-Required Certifications within 90 Days

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Bilingual English and Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
  • 3 years directly related experience
  • Current Instructor in BLS, ACLS, NRP or other instruct certifications
