Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as an RN Coordinator in Orthopedic Care, where you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating patient care in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities
Perform all RN Nursing duties and assist in specialty clinic
Coordinate activities related to patient care
Serve as liaison between patient/family and health care team
Counsel and teach families regarding medical conditions and interventions
Collaborate with specialty team about candidacy of potential patients
Conduct educational activities for hospital employees
Maintain departmental policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
3 years directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
2 years directly related experience
