Job Description

Join the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as an RN Coordinator in Orthopedic Care, where you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating patient care in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all RN Nursing duties and assist in specialty clinic
  • Coordinate activities related to patient care
  • Serve as liaison between patient/family and health care team
  • Counsel and teach families regarding medical conditions and interventions
  • Collaborate with specialty team about candidacy of potential patients
  • Conduct educational activities for hospital employees
  • Maintain departmental policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Program Graduate
  • 3 years directly related experience
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
  • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
  • 2 years directly related experience
