Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a Bilingual RN, providing essential nursing care in a psychiatric environment. You'll design care plans, administer treatments, and ensure patient safety while enjoying competitive compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in a mental health/psychiatric environment.
Design nursing care plans and assist in the development of overall care plans for psychiatric patients.
Administer medications and treatments, and educate patients and families on treatment regimens.
Perform nursing intakes, draw blood, and coordinate laboratory tests.
Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients.
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
1 year directly related experience
