Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a Counselor Social Worker, providing essential therapeutic services to individuals and families. You will work in a dynamic environment, offering specialized care and contributing to patient safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Provide counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to clients and families
Prepare treatment plans, discharge plans, and follow-up care programs
Consult with other therapists and related professionals
Provide therapeutic interventions including emergency services
Refer clients to appropriate social service agencies
Document patient data and evaluate therapeutic approaches
Perform administrative functions and participate in research projects
Provide casework management of a specialized caseload
Promote patient safety and follow safety-related policies
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in a related discipline
LMSW or LPC or LMHC license
Documented experience in age-appropriate environment
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
1 year directly related experience
