Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a Full-Time Outpatient RN, where you will deliver direct patient care, mentor staff, and play a key role in patient education and safety. This position offers a competitive salary and additional benefits such as relocation assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff
Administer medications and perform routine treatments
Assist physicians with special tests and complex treatments
Document nursing care and maintain patient records
Participate in training and evaluation of new personnel
Ensure patient safety and adhere to medical protocols
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
3 years directly related experience
