Job Description
Join our mission-driven outpatient palliative care team as a Registered Nurse, where you'll utilize your clinical expertise and compassion to improve the quality of life for patients with serious illnesses. This role includes providing direct patient care, clinical mentorship, and educating patients and families, all while working in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in the ambulatory setting
Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff
Administer medications and perform routine treatments
Participate in orientation and evaluation of new personnel
Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures
Provide education for patients and families about preventive care and medical issues
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
3 years directly related experience
