Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in a mental health/psychiatric environment
Design nursing care plans and assist in developing overall care plans for psychiatric patients
Observe patient behavior, activities, and mental status; perform triage and crisis intervention
Administer medication and treatment; facilitate group therapy and/or education sessions
Educate patients and families on treatment regimens and compliance with treatment plans
Coordinate communication between physicians, medical students, staff, patients, families, and community
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
IV Certification within 6 months of date of position may be required
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
1 year directly related experience
