Join the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a Bilingual RN, where you will be responsible for planning and implementing care for Ambulatory Specialty Practice patients. This full-time role provides an opportunity to impact patient care across various age groups and specialties, while also participating in educational and community outreach programs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform all RN nursing duties and assist in specialty clinic
Triage patients as necessary in daily walk-in clinic
Coordinate all activities related to patient care
Serve as liaison between patient/family and health care team
Counsel and teach families about medical conditions and interventions
Facilitate the delivery of services for optimal patient care
Participate in programs and committees related to the specialty
Conduct educational engagements for professional and public relations
Provide statistical reports as needed
Maintain established departmental policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
3 years directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
2 years directly related experience
