Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico Hospitals team as a Counselor Social Worker, where you will provide critical psychosocial evaluation, therapy, and crisis intervention in a dynamic clinical environment. Key Responsibilities
Provide counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to clients and families
Prepare treatment and discharge plans
Consult with other therapists and professionals
Provide therapeutic interventions including crisis intervention
Refer clients to appropriate social service agencies
Document treatment effectiveness and modify when necessary
Perform administrative functions and participate in research projects
Provide clinical supervision to lower level therapists or interns
Promote best practices in treatment and enhance professional growth
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in related discipline
LPCC/CMHC or LCSW or LMFT in New Mexico
3 years directly related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
