Job Description
As a PACU Registered Nurse at the University of New Mexico Hospital, you'll deliver exceptional care to patients before and after surgery. You'll monitor vital signs, manage pain, and collaborate with a skilled surgical team, all while advocating for patient safety in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform key assessments and prepare patients for surgery
Monitor vital signs and manage pain and post-op complications
Collaborate with surgical team and provide leadership to nursing staff
Ensure adherence to hospital policies and provide direct patient care
Participate in strategic nursing initiatives and enhance professional development
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
2 years directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
