Job Description
Join Staples as a Customer Sales Account Manager, driving growth in the public sector and commercial markets. Leverage your sales expertise to build relationships, create tailored solutions, and exceed sales targets in a supportive remote environment focused on inclusion and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Drive revenue from new customers
Build territory strategy and analyze performance
Qualify prospects and route opportunities
Schedule appointments and present solutions
Attend conferences and events to win new customers
Create and present custom pricing solutions
Leverage education contracts for new customer acquisition
Ensure smooth transition to account management
Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas
Maintain accurate records in CRM
Collaborate with sales leadership to drive revenue
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
5+ years sales experience
6 months of relevant experience in the public sector
Ability to cover a territory of New York City and surrounding areas
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
Proven business development experience
