Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Sacramento, California. Job Description & Requirements

Requirements:
- Active RN License (state or compact)
- BLS (AHA required)
- Minimum 2 years CVOR experience (must scrub)
- First-time travelers accepted
- 2 supervisory references required at submittal (charge accepted)
Unit Details:
- 4 OR suites – CVOR only (CABG, valves, all heart surgeries, no thoracic)
- Surgeries per day: 4–6
- EMR: Cerner
- Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips
- Call: 1 overnight call per week + 3 weekend days/month
- Orientation: 1–2 days in OR with preceptor
- Support: CSTs, RT 24/7, Pharmacy 24/7, Surgeon available 24/7
- Scrub uniforms provided
Schedule & Expectations:
- 8-hour day shifts + required call if cases run late
- Weekend call rotation (about 1 per month)
- Holidays rotated with core staff
- Must be confident, fast-paced environment – strong CVOR scrub skills required
