Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate educational programs
  • Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies
  • Follow patient safety-related policies and protocols
  • Identify educational needs of staff
  • Develop instructional programs based on identified learning needs
  • Implement educational curricula utilizing adult learning principles
  • Monitor and evaluate educational program outcomes
  • Maintain quality of instructional programs
  • Provide leadership in professional practice
  • Integrate ethics into educational practice
  • Collaborate with other professionals to promote quality outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related discipline
  • Master's Degree (preferred)
  • 3 years directly related experience
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers within 30 days
  • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
  • CPR, ALS, or ILS Age Appropriate Instructor Cert within 6 months

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Bilingual (English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo)
