Key Responsibilities
Provide counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to clients and families
Prepare treatment plans, discharge plans, and follow-up care programs
Consult with other therapists and professionals
Provide therapeutic interventions including crisis intervention
Refer clients to social service agencies
Document treatment and follow-up care
Perform administrative functions and monitor expenditures
Provide clinical supervision and training to lower-level therapists
Promote best practices in treatment
Ensure patient safety
Required Qualifications
Provisional license in Counseling or Social Work
LMSW or LPC or LMHC
LPCC, LCSW, or Marriage and Family Therapist License in New Mexico
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in a related discipline
