Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures including portables and the OR
Administer general and specific x-rays
Evaluate filming for technical qualities and provide corrective action
Document patient reactions or problems
Complete and verify all appropriate paperwork
Assume care for physical needs of patients during examinations
Assist physician with imaging process
Participate in quality control programs
Provide patient and environmental safety
Maintain cleanliness and stock supply levels
Assist in reception area and scheduling as necessary
Instruct students and clinical staff as required
Participate in professional development activities
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists License
NM Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program Lic NMMIRTP
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a trauma center
