Join the Pediatric Emergency Department at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as an RN Per Diem III. You will provide direct nursing care across various age groups while ensuring quality patient care and adherence to departmental policies. Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients
Work within Hospitals, Nursing division and departmental policies
Implement and document individualized care plans
Assist with special tests and procedures
Participate in orientation and training of new personnel
Assist with emergency measures for sudden patient developments
Administer medication and document clinical findings
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
Enhance professional growth through education and workshops
Follow patient safety-related policies and protocols
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
1 year directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
