Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients
  • Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients
  • Work in collaboration with the healthcare team on individualized care plans
  • Administer medication including IV medication
  • Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies
  • Participate in orientation and precepting of new personnel
  • Assist in emergency measures for sudden patient developments
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families

Required Qualifications

  • Program Graduate
  • Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
  • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Nationally Certified in area of specialty
