Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures including portables and in the OR
Administer general and specific x-rays following prescribed techniques
Evaluate filming for technical qualities and provide corrective actions
Document patient reactions or problems and report to supervisor
Assume care for physical needs of patients during examinations
Assist physician with imaging processes
Maintain cleanliness and stock supply levels in assigned area
Instruct students and clinical staff as needed
Enhance professional growth through educational programs and workshops
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists License
NM Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program License
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a trauma center
