As a Bilingual RN at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals, you will provide direct patient care in an ambulatory setting, mentor staff, and educate patients and families. You'll play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and delivering high-quality nursing services.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
Clinical mentorship and leadership for staff
Patient education for patients and families
Assist physicians with special tests and procedures
Document patient care and ensure physician's orders are carried out
Participate in orientation of new personnel
Respond to emergency measures for adverse developments
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
3 years directly related experience
