RN - Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Provide pre and post care for invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular patients
• Maintain 3:1 patient ratio during days, nights, and weekends
• Work with adult patient population in 14-bed unit with daily census of 20
• California RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (must be AHA or American Red Cross certified)
• Minimum 2 years experience in ICU, Telemetry, or caring for post-catheterization patients
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Skills include cardiac telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, managing cardiac drips, post cardiac angiogram care, pre/post cardiac catheterization care, sheath removal, TAVR procedures, and TR Band use
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• One holiday time-off request will be approved
• 50-mile travel requirement applies
• Orientation includes non-billable modules averaging 1-5 hours completed through e-learning
• Two references obtained within the last year required
• Nursys verification within last 2 weeks required at submission

The facility features a 14-bed catheterization lab unit that provides interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Epic electronic health records system for comprehensive patient documentation.
