Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico Hospital as a PACU Registered Nurse, where your clinical expertise and compassion will make a significant impact on patient care before and after surgery. Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients
Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans
Assist with special tests and procedures
Participate in orientation and precepting new personnel
Administer medication, including IV medication
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
1 year directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
