Join the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a CPR Registered Nurse, where you'll provide critical nursing care in a psychiatric environment. You'll design care plans and work closely with patients across various age groups, ensuring their recovery and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in a mental health/psychiatric environment
Design nursing care plans and assist in overall care plans for psychiatric patients
Administer medications and treatments, including IV medication
Educate patients and families on treatment regimens and emotional support
Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures
Perform various administrative functions and participate in research projects
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
1 year directly related experience
