Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as a Counselor Social Worker, where you'll provide crucial psychosocial evaluations, counseling, and crisis interventions in a dynamic clinical environment. Key Responsibilities
Provide counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to clients and families
Prepare treatment plans, discharge plans, and follow-up care programs
Consult with other therapists and related professionals
Provide and arrange for therapeutic interventions including crisis intervention
Refer clients to appropriate social service agencies
Document treatment methods and outcomes
Perform administrative functions and monitor program expenditures
Provide clinical supervision to lower-level therapists or students
Promote best practices in treatment and patient safety
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in a related discipline
LPCC/CMHC or LCSW or LMFT in New Mexico
3 years directly related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
