Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as a Per Diem Registered Nurse III, providing vital nursing care across various patient age groups in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients
Work within hospital and departmental policies
Implement and document individualized care plans
Assist with special tests and procedures
Participate in orientation and training of new personnel
Assist with emergency measures for adverse patient developments
Ensure patient medical records are properly maintained
Administer medications and document clinical findings
Maintain a therapeutic environment for patients/families
Enhance professional growth through participation in educational programs
Follow patient safety-related policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
1 year directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
