Job Description

As a CPR Registered Nurse at UNM Hospitals, you will be responsible for the independent planning, organization, and evaluation of Ambulatory Specialty Practice patients. This role requires a commitment to patient care across all age groups and adherence to hospital policies to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all RN Nursing duties and assist in specialty clinic
  • Triage patients as necessary in daily walk-in clinic
  • Coordinate activities related to patient care
  • Serve as liaison between patient/family and healthcare team
  • Counsel and teach families about medical conditions and interventions
  • Participate in educational opportunities and workshops
  • Provide statistical reports as needed
  • Rotate on call including holidays, nights, and weekends
  • Collaborate with community physicians on patient care

Required Qualifications

  • Program Graduate
  • Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
  • 3 years directly related experience
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
  • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Zuni, or Navajo
  • 2 years directly related experience
