Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in a psychiatric environment
Design and implement nursing care plans
Interview, examine, and assess health status of psychiatric patients
Observe patient behavior and perform crisis intervention
Administer medication and coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families on treatment regimens
Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures
Maintain a safe therapeutic environment for patients
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Obtain and maintain Aggressive Behavior Certification within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
1 year directly related experience
