Key Responsibilities
Conduct physical assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, balance, strength, and range of motion
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ physical needs and goals
Provide one-on-one or small group therapy sessions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate physical therapy goals into students’ daily activities
Monitor student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
Assist in the development and implementation of adaptive equipment
Educate students, teachers, and parents on strategies to maintain physical therapy progress
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress
Required Qualifications
Doctoral or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Arizona
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with children in an educational or pediatric setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of IEP development and experience with related documentation
