As a Reserve Preventive Medicine Officer in the U.S. Army, you will play a critical role in protecting the health of Soldiers and their families through disease prevention and health promotion. You'll lead health protection efforts, direct public health initiatives, and have access to ongoing education and training opportunities that enhance your skills and career.
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school
Current license to practice medicine in the U.S., D.C. or Puerto Rico
Eligibility for board certification
Completion of at least one year of approved Graduate Medical Education internship
Training program in preventive medicine
U.S. citizenship for Active Duty
Permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve
