OR SURGICAL TECH

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: The OR Surgical Tech demonstrates basic intraoperative scrub responsibilities - Prepares surgical team. Assists in basic draping. Positions OR equipment & supplies. Prepares & operates room equipment. Creates sterile area using aseptic technique. Prepares supplies, recognizes and corrects when sterility is compromised. Demonstrates proper handling of surgical specimens. Performs counts per policy and procedures. Follows National Patient Safety Goal guidelines.

Position Requirements:

Minimum Education: Required:

High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education.

Preferred: Associates Degree Specify Degree(s): Surgical Technology

Minimum Experience: Required:

Less than one year of previous job-related experience

Preferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience

Licensure/Certifications: Required : CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist

Pa y Range: $24.44 - $39.11 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
